National Music Centre/Studio Bell
The National Music Centre/Studio Bell is a unique, multi-purpose facility located in Calgary, Alberta. Designed by Allied Works Architecture, the 160,000 square foot building features a striking architectural design with nine subtly curved and interlocking towers clad in glazed terra cotta. The complex serves as a performance hall, recording studio, broadcast studio, live music venue, and museum, making it the first of its kind in this region. From the building, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the Bow River and the surrounding cityscape. The complex also incorporates the revitalized King Edward Hotel, one of Calgary's oldest buildings and a renowned blues club.
